SP Brewery Launches Export Lager Art Series

Following a nationwide design competition in 2018, SP Brewery launched its Export Art Series.

The design competition recieved 500 entries, from which 22 winning designs were selected from each province. The first five designs were launched today, Wednesday, February 20, are from NCD, Morobe, Oro, Eastern Highlands, and East New Britain province.

These designs will be featured on the SP Export Lager white can this year.

“These cans take a little while to get here from our suppliers but we’re really excited to be able to launch them they’re available now all around the country,” SP Brewery Marketing Manager, Josh Wheeler said, “So the opportunity is for consumers to search out and find their favorite can for you to all you know look at the different cans admire the great art and artists that we have in this country and to enjoy a nice export art series can”

One of the winning designers was present during the launching of the art series. Joseph Iava, the winning designer for NCD says his design was inspired from by his place of origin.

“I’m from Vabukori Village, I decided to use the Hiri Trade as my submission for the competition because of my background.”

Meanwhile, SP Brewery’s Marketing Manager, says the remaining 17 designs from the other provinces will be launched over the next few months.
