Michael McGuire, coach for South Sydney Rabbitohs, who organized the match, was also present with his team.

It was game on for both the Australian U16 Rabbitoh’s and the PNG Fuzzy Wuzzy young stars under the scorching Sogeri sun.It was fierce as these little ones knew every move it took to stop each opponent from scoring a try.

Ten minutes into first half of the game, the Rabbitohs scored their first try with a successful conversion, leading with 6 points.  The fuzzy Wuzzy Young Stars returned with a try of their own, equalizing the score with a successful conversion.

With great defence from the Rabbitohs side, their opponent, the Fuzzy Wuzzy Young Stars, stuck to their game plan, but the South Sydney Rabbitohs took hold of the first half leading the leader board with 12 points to 10 Fuzzy Wazzy Young Stars, at half time.

The second half saw the Rabbitohs drag the Fuzzy Wuzzy Young Stars down.

The Fuzzy Young Stars struggled to catch their breath while chasing up with the Rabbitohs, but the Rabbitohs managed to escape the traps, pocketing another 3 more tries to come out as winners for the day
