Sir Puka Request Statement from Government on PNG’s COVID-19 Situation

Senior Politician and Member for Abau has requested a public statement on the COVID-19 situation in the country.

During the Parliament Sitting today, Sir Puka Temu asked Prime Minister James Marape and Health Minister Jelta Wong.

“Can the Executive Government be responsible to this country and inform through the leadership on the COVID-19 situation in this country?” asked Sir Temu.

In response, Prime Minister James Marape says daily statistics are being released everyday through various media platforms and that a public statement will be made tomorrow.

PM Marape assured that his Government will ensure the country is kept in the loop about the country’s COVID-19 situation daily.
