Chief Executive Officer of the PNG Accident Investigation Commission, Dean Kuri, and Executive Director of PNG Sports foundation, Peter Tsiamalili, have been reappointed for a period of 4 years, both were part of 4 senior departmental heads reappointed.
The other 2 department heads reappointed include Managing Director for Conservation and Environment Protection Authority, Gunther Joku and West New Britain Provincial Administrator, Williamson Hosea. 7 employment contracts in total were signed by Governor General Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae together with the Acting Secretary for Personnel Management Department and respective contract recipients.
New appointees are Dr Nick Dala as Director of National AIDS Council Secretariat, Clarence Hoot as Managing Director of Investment Promotion Authority and Steven Maken appointed as Managing Director of the Small to Medium Enterprises Corporation.
The department heads were appointed by the National Executive Council and gazetted in the national gazette.
