Selections are underway for the Central Dabaris team.
A 60-man squad will be selected in from a two-day tournament which began today (04 December, 2018) at the Bava Park in Port Moresby.
Newcomers in the Digicel Cup competition, the Central Dabaris, have begun their selections for the train-on squad.
14 Rugby League associations in Central Province who are affiliated under PNGRFL were invited to play in the trial matches prior to the selections.
According to the tournament director, Chris Enara, the trials will see 40 players selected. Whilst the 20 other players will be selected from NCD.
The final Squad for Dabaris will be announced early next year once players selected undergo proper selection criteria and processes.
