Public Service System Failing “Take Back PNG” Slogan, Juffa

Northern Governor Gary Juffa says people must not deter from the slogan of “Take Back PNG”.

In a recent news conference, Governor Juffa says the slogan has been adopted by the PANGU-led Government, however has been misapplied.

He says “Take Back PNG” simply means developing resource laws to enable Papua New Guinean’s benefit while managing the economy.

The Northern Governor says the slogan “Take Back PNG” is about making decisions for the people and despite the Government embracing this philosophy, public servants are not working towards achieving thisobjective.

“Take Back PNG” was the original slogan for the People’s Movement for Change” Party created by Governor Juffa and its party members.

He says if public servants and the State make decisions for the people, PNG’s economy will climb back through the support of the country’s vast resources.

Juffa says the current public service system is failing the slogan.

He has criticized both the previous and current government for its efforts on national issues and functions of Government.

The Northern Governor says if Papua New Guinean’s are selling the land, sea and its people to cheap investors, nothing will be achieved to raise PNG’s status.
