Port Moresby National High School Receives A Special Visitor

Tura the Kokomo made a special appearance today at the Port Moresby National High School.

His friendliness and quirky mannerisms attracted a lot of students and teachers, appreciative of his efforts in spreading the message and awareness of the 2015 POM Pacific Games.

Gold sponsors of the 2015 Port Moresby Pacific Games, Steamships, brought along a very special guest to the World Environment Day debate presentation.

Joining the journey towards the Pacific Games next year, Tura the Kokomo made an alluring appearance.

Although World Environment Day has no relation to the games next year, Tura certainly jumped at the next opportunity to make himself known and engage more children as the race to the games commences.

Known as the mischievous bird, Tura savoured the moment and without a doubt enjoyed being the centre of attention as he was sure to make new friends.

Tura visited the Nature Park yesterday and will be looking to make more trips around Port Moresby in the coming weeks.

Sixty per cent of work has been completed so far with the venues. Bisini Parade has recently gone under construction, leaving audiences to an eager wait for the ground-breaking ceremony.
