A Port Moresby police officer has been arrested after the vehicle he was driving smashed into three other vehicles.
The incident happened during the pouring rain last night, at the Gordons Police Barracks.
The police man involved is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol.
Owners of the vehicles involved in this accident woke up to the loud sound of the crash.
“We woke up and saw the damages that were cost,” claimed one of the owners.
But it was too late, three of the cars, were already damaged.
Veronica Barrum is the owner of this vehicle. She ordered it from Japan at a cost of K35,000 last December.
Barrum was disappointed when she first saw the damages on her vehicle.
The police officer, who caused the incident, was picked up by Traffic Police at 2am on Thursday.
He is expected to appear before the traffic court next week.
