PNGNRLC awaits approval from the National Covid Centre

The Papua New Guinea National Rugby League Competition is awaiting approval from the controller’s office to confirm the date for the start of the 2021 season.

PNGRFL CEO Stanley Hondina has spelled rumors making an announcement today that PNGRFL is 48hours away from a decision by the Pandemic controller’s office, as to when the season can kickoff.

Despite the global pandemic affecting the sporting calendar, PNG NRLC, chairman Adrian Chow says, they will work together with the national control center to ensure that Digicel cup complies with COVID-19 protocols to allow a smooth competition in 2021.
