PNGDF Chief of Staff Says Recent Confrontation Will Not Affect Upcoming Events

PNGDF Chief of Staff, Colonel Ray Numa, says the confrontation between soldiers and police at the Boroko Police Station, will not affect preparation for security operations, leading up to the National General Elections and 2018 APEC Summit.

Colonel Numa’s comment comes after a preliminary investigation was conducted into what instigated the confrontation.

The investigation was led by commanding officer of the Force Support Battalion.
