PNG Hockey signs sublease agreement

PNG Hockey has signed a lease agreement with the Sports Foundation to use the hockey turf at the Sir John Guise Stadium.

This announcement was made by PNG Sports Foundation CEO, Peter Tsiamalili junior; PNG Hockey President, Kaluwin Potuwan; and Sports Minister, Justin Tkatchenko.

The lease agreement will see many hockey players use the world class facility that will also help to improve their skills in the sport.

The synthetic turf is the second in the Pacific Region after Fiji.

PNG Hockey President, Kaluwin Potuan thanked the government for building a world class facility which was used during the Pacific Games.

And now, will be used for National and International competitions.

Minister for Sports, Justin Tkatchenko says with the world class facility available, this will help improve players’ abilities, and there is no excuse to why PNG can’t be the best in the Pacific.
