Education Department farewells innovative educationist, Dr. Eliakim Apelis

Staff of the e-learning division of the National Education Department have farewelled, Dr. Eliakim Apelis who is one of the longest employee.

Assistant Secretary, Hatsie Mirou thanked Dr. Apelis for his outstanding leadership in the department.

In a get-together today, Mirou said that Dr. Apelis displayed high standards in his call of duties, while serving the state.

“Dr. Apelis is a man of character, contributing immensely to the development of education standards in the country,

“Although we will miss his presence in the department, his work should be our guiding path. And we thank him for his wonderful work and contributions to this great nation,” Mirou said.

Dr. Apelis has resigned after being the Deputy Secretary, School and Education Standards Directorate.

Dr. Apelis encouraged the staff to continue the good work of connecting the people especially children with the outside world through electronic media.

“Continue the good work,” he said.
