Partial Landslip Blocks Off Road at 9 Mile Following continuous Rain and Strong Winds

The heavy downfall in the Nation’s Capital, in the past few days has seen floods on the roads and some houses destroyed by strong winds.

Part of the road leading from 9 mile to Gerehu, was blocked off by a landslip that occurred at around midnight.

Piles of rocks and soil covered one side of the road.

This morning (03 January, 2019) EMTV news met people from eight mile, clearing the road to allow motorists to travel.

According to Eye-Witness, Michael Anthony, fortunately there were no accidents as there was not traffic through that part of the road, when the landslip happened.
