NRL Round 7 Preview

The Telstra Premiership round 7 kicked off this afternoon with the Bulldogs taking on the Rabbitohs in a tussle that saw the Canterbury side defeat Newcastle 24 – 9.

While the Knights and the Roosters are currently in battle, with the Knights fighting to move up from the bottom of the point’s ladder.

This weekend’s matches will see the likes of the Dragons having a chance to maintain the top spot as their opponent, the Cowboys’ line up looks worrying, with injuries piling up.

The Gold Coast Titans will go up against Brisbane Broncos later tonight in what is deemed by critics as a big brother toying with the younger.

With 5 defeats in 6 games to their name and sitting on the second last spot on the point’s ladder, the Titans will have to be on their game to the overcome Broncos.

Though, between the two teams, there is still need for rivalry, and that’s what the Gold Coast guys have to bring to field in order to outdo the Broncs.

On the other hand, the Melbourne Storms will meet Manly Eagles tomorrow.

Both have had their fair share of wins and defeats in the last six rounds, but the Storms are still moody after the Sharks ended their perfect start to the season, moving them from first to the second placing.

However, the Sea Eagles may be out to get redemption after they were blitz 35 – 10 by the Dragons last week.

This is a match to watch.

Meanwhile 2016 premiers, Cronulla Sharks are at an all-time high after maneuvering over the Storms and the Knights successfully in the last two rounds.

And they are already looking forward to maintaining their good form this Sunday against the Penrith Panthers.

And in the other matches, Raiders will take on Warriors while the Parramatta Eels will face West Tigers.
