The National Development Bank (NDB) today (March 15) donates thirty five thousand kina a to the earthquake disaster restoration, a recent statement reports.
NDB proudly acclaims to be a financial institution that focuses in supporting and stimulating business growth within the small medium enterprise (SME) sector, which includes providing financial assistance to established businesses down to the grassroots level.
“We are about helping people to become financially independent as well as improving their living standards in order to contribute towards the growth of our country’s economy.”
The state owned entity also claims to involve in alot of activities so it gives back as much as it can to the people under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, this includes giving back to the communities, the statement affirms.
Today, NDB donated thirty five thousand kina towards the 2018 earthquake disaster restoration in Hela, Southern Highlands and Enga provinces.
The people in Hela, Southern Highlands and Enga provinces have been affected by the recent earthquake and NDB’s donation will go towards restoring the lives in these communities.
“NDB would like to extend heart felt condolences to those affected, may our good Lord bring you peace and strength during this time of despair.”
