The National Capital District Volleyball Tournament is into its proper season of the competition.
All teams played in both male and female division ranging from division one and two to the premier division.
National Capital District volleyball was in full swing with their proper season volleyball tournament.
Up to 37 teams lined up on the courts of Hohola to play against each other.
The Premier Division consisted of 10 men and 10 women, in division one, 9 men’s team and 8 women’s team.
With increased number of teams, sets have been reduced from its normal set of 5 to just 3 sets.
A total of four divisions took part in the competition; 2 men and women’s, two premier teams both male and female, and 2 division one with the teams both male and female.
The NCD volley games saw game four of the first round of matches. The competitions will continue every weekend until the championships on the September through to October.
The NCD Volleyball association mentioned that 3 of the top athletes from NCD volley where selected to join the PNG team. Also one of its former player is part of the Fairfax volley and is making a comeback to NCD competitions.
