Morobe Governor, Kelly Naru, says he is confident to retain his seat this Election.
Naru says based on his experience in the previous election, he won by a huge margin, which supports his confidence that he has served the people of Morobe during his term in office.
Naru says he has the support in all the nine districts, and 33 LLGs of Morobe province. This support has seen him opening a number of ‘hausmans’ in each of the districts built by his supporters.
Naru believes he will return to parliament, and be given the kind of support he has been getting from the people.
Also the party leader of the Christian Democratic party, Naru has endorsed nine candidates in the nine districts, with at least 25 candidates in other provinces to contest.
Naru adds a prediction, that he will win by the first count. He will submit his nomination on Thursday.
