Morobe Health patrol reveals poor child vaccination

A month-long Maternal and Child Health Patrol into the Tsilitsili area of Lower Watut, Morobe Province revealed that almost all the children under the age of five have not completed their vaccination.

The patrol conducted by the Huon and Wampar Health Centre in partnership with Morobe Mining Joint Ventures.

The patrol vaccinated 459 children, in ten village, the first such.

The vaccines were for tuberculosis, Hepatitis B, Measles and Oral Polio.
