Monagi To Defend Title

21-year-old USA-based PNG athlete Adriene Monagi says, the pressure is on now that the 2018 Commonwealth Games is just around the corner as well as the Mini Pacific Games.

With the 2015 Pacific Games gold medal under her belt, Monagi will head into to both competitions with the main goal of defending her title.

Earlier this month, she outperformed her previous record of 51.92 in the Florida Nationals with 5221.

The points she collected were from the 100m hurdles, high jump, javelin and long jump.

The young lass say she is working towards huge marks in at least seven events to improve her points further.

She adds, she has to be competitive enough to compete against the best.
