Health service providers in Madang are proud recipients of new medical equipment, thanks to Phoenix Pharmacy in Cairns, Australia.
This was made possible through the partnership with Melanesian Foundation and Melanesian Tourist Service, donating medical equipment in the country for over 20 years.
Two tonnes of medical supplies were recently donated like wheel chairs, hospital beds and surgical equipment.
Melanesian Foundation Managing Director, Sir Peter Barter, said the aim was to improve medical services in PNG, particularly in rural areas.
