Maprik Resource Centre Opens

The Maprik Resource Center in Maprik district is now open for use.

University of Goroka Council members announced its registration open this afternoon.

Chancellor Dr Joseph Sukwianomb said the University will work closely with the District to allow students access the three offered courses. He said this opportunity must be a resource for the next generation of Maprik and other neighbouring district.

The Resource Centre was built with a funding of K1.5 million from the National Government.

Other leading Universities like UPNG, Unitech, and UNRE will also offer courses.

For UOG, over 40 students have registered.

More enrollment applications are coming in according to sources.
