KINA BANK LAUNCHES E-LANDS KIOSK

Kina Bank recently launched its innovative E-Lands Kiosk which is an initiative aimed at revolutionizing land management services in the country.

This project is led by NiuPay and is in partnership with the department of Lands and Physical planning and integrates Kina Bank’s payment processing solutions to ease the efficient service delivery.

On Thursday the 7th of December in Port Moresby, the Kiosk was launched by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Lands and pHysical Planning , John Rosso and was witnessed by Kina Bank’s CEO Roppe Uyassi and Niupay Founder James Inglis.

E-Lands Kiosk was developed by NiuPay and features a 32 inch digital interface and has been designed and developed in Papua New Guinea. Through this collaborations, Kina Bank is playing a crucial role by providing the intergrated payment processing infrastructure , and includes IPG and EFTPOS systems and ensures a seamless and smooth transaction experience for their users and customers.

DPM Rosso congratulated the three partners and said the kiosk would help to reduce queues for people accessing land services and paying fees as well as improving revenue collection.

 “It is an inclusive system, meaning anyone can access it, from individuals to corporate clients anytime, anywhere. This will also ensure all transactions are done transparently and, most importantly, there will be an electronic record of every transaction,” Mr Rosso said.

Mr. Uyassi acknowledged the importance of this partnership: “We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute our expertise to this important initiative.

Our collaboration with NiuPay and the Department of Lands and Physical Planning is a prime example of how technological innovation can enhance public services in Papua New Guinea.”

Currently in its trial phase in Port Moresby, the Kiosk project is planned to expand to other centers across the country, signifying a major advancement in the digital transformation of public service delivery.
