Kerema Welcomes Opening of Nambawan Supa Branch

The Kerema branch is the latest addition to 10 established Nambawan Supa Limited (NSL) branches under the current partnership with Post PNG Limited.

The expansion of NSL outlets compliments the rollout of it’s latest online mobile banking app in an effort to improve customer accessibility, as well as expand its service and distribution channels through Post PNG.

“ The expansion of NSL’s outlets will place NSL closer to members without them having to travel far to access services,” Chief Financial Officer,Vere Arava, said.

NSL members in Kerema have in the past had to travel all the way into Port Moresby to access very basic services.

“Under this arrangement, members can visit the Kerema Post Office and will be able to check their statements, housing advance eligibilities and submit applications.”

But customers aren’t the only beneficiaries in this arrangement.

Under immense competition from emerging social media portals that have revolutionised communication in the country, Post PNG has now tapped into public private partnerships like this one to keep the business afloat.

NSL now has 19 branches throughout PNG and is expected to open more.

Nambawan Super Limited has proven to be Papua New Guinea’s largest and leading super fund turning over K404 million in profit last year and crediting 9% of balance held for over 160,000 members.
