By Jack Lapauve Jnr – EMTV News, Port Moresby

The Australian funded works to maintain more than 120 kilometres of the Sepik Highway is progressing.

The K20 million project includes replacing of culverts, patching of potholes, and full-width pavement repairs through to 2020.

Initial work to clear the roadsides is already making travel safer for pedestrians and vehicles using the Sepik Highway. The project is being delivered through the Papua New Guinea – Australia Transport Sector Support Program
