InterOil Awards

Waigani Interoil Service Station in the Nation’s Capital scooped the 2013 Retail Milestone Award from Interoil for achieving 10 million liters in 2013.

While the Kona Service Station in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands Province was awarded the Retail Excellence award for achieving the highest growth percentage in 2013.

Waigani Interoil Service Station is operated by Dekmog Limited and increased its sales volume from 8.678 liters in 2013 to over 10 million liters last year. It’s the first time in Interoil’s history for a service station to achieve this much sales volume in a year.

With all the cars that are being imported, especially in the Nations Capital, it is no surprise that Demand for fuel has hit highest numbers hence business is booming. The Staff at Waigani are the ones to blame for such hitting such a double-digit figure.

Station Operator Lisa Onglo said she employs 60 people who work shift. She attributed the achievement to the hard working staff.
