The Inonda Adventist High School in the Northern Province of Ijivitari District has received a much needed bus that will help the school with pick up and drop offs for over 100 students during the school days.
The 25-seater Mitsubishi Rosa Bus will be shipped to Popondetta once the freight cost has been sorted by the District Development Authority.
This was made possible through a submission made early this year by the Member for Ijivitari , Richard Masere, to the APEC Authority on behalf of several institutes in Ijivitari District.
Due to numerous requests from Government Agencies and other Members of Parliament, the district qualified for only one vehicle.
Mr. Masere says he is sure the students who struggle with transport and walk to school every day will appreciate the gift from the APEC Authority.
