Illegal Fishing Vessels Captured

Members of the PNG Defence Force taking part in the illegal fishing boats operation in the waters of Milne Bay have returned to their base in Manus.

The operation saw the capture of two illegal fishing vessels and crew of 55 men.

The third boat was demolished after failing to stop and attempting to escape.

The 55 men were handed over to National Fisheries Authority and PNG Customs and Immigration officials for appropriate charges.

Yes we need to look at this such matters from foreigners who are smuggling and hunting down our resources..It’s Milne bay and it’s pig’s resources..Thanks to PNGDF who are guiding our waters and unique materials.
