The PNG Olympic Committee has named Richard Kassman as Chef De Mission for Team PNG in the 2015 Pacific Games.
Kassman was also the Chef De Mission to the Mini Pacific Games in Noumea, and brings with him a wealth of experience.
At his official announcement, he said his mission was to serve the team.
After much anticipation, the PNG RFU announced Fereti Verebula as Head Coach and Freddy Mathies as Assistant Coach to the PNG Pukpuks.
A 24-men train-on squad was also named along with SP Lager as sponsors for the Pukpuks run to the Commonwealth Games in June.
The Kassman-Teakwondo still opens its doors to train and equip young and aspiring athletes in the sport of Taekwondo.
Edward Kassman, alongside his family, has been running the club for martial arts enthusiasts since 2004.
If you’d like to learn the art of taekwondo, sessions start at 9 a.m at the Don Bosco Technical Institute at Taurama on Saturdays. Annual Registration is K30 and K1 per session attended.
And in International Rugby, the Queensland Reds in their run for another title in this year’s Super 15s, are in Johannesburg for their South African Conference matches.
