Fitness session wraps up National Mine Safety Week 2017

As part of National Mine Safety Week 2017, a major mine operator, together with a service provider today offered the opportunity for its staff to enjoy a few moments of relaxation, all in the name of safety.

Newcrest and International SOS today held a fitness session at the Taurama Aquatic Centre – an opportunity to unwind after two days of safety refresher training.

Yesterday afternoon, the Taurama Aquatic Centre played host to stakeholders from the mining sector – swapping their field gear, for something more informal – exercise gear.

The fitness session concluded three days of activities in commemorating National Mine Safety Week 2017 – and it certainly was a hit with the participants.
