High Commissioner, Tikotikoca, urged all Fijians in Port Moresby and elsewhere, to make their vote count, through the Electronic Voter Registration Exercise, adding that, two officials from Fiji’s election office arrived yesterday morning, to register eligible Fijian voters in the country.

The exercise took place at the office of the Fijian High Commission yesterday, and continued today, and will move on to Lae tomorrow.

The high commissioner said it was an opportune time for Fijians to take advantage of this voting opportunity, as this was an initiative of the Fijian Government and it will end on Tuesday, the 20th of this month.

This same Electronic Voting Exercise has penetrated Australia, New Zealand, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, the United States, Canada, the U.K, Germany and France.
