A family in Lae is mourning the loss of their 16-year-old son after he was killed in a Christmas eve road accident on the Nadzab highway.
Joshua Billy and his family were hit by a PNG Power vehicle. The victim’s grandfather, John Selou, has been released from Angau Hospital, while the mother, Lisa Billy, is still admitted in the hospital.
The father of the teenager, Billy Selou, says the death and injury are immediate losses, but damages and trauma are lifelong for surviving family members.
