230 students from Marianville Secondary School outside Port Moresby, have completed Day 2 of the Grade 10 National Examinations today.
They are part of the 300, 000 Grade 10 students in Papua New Guinea who sat the Social Science and Expressive Arts Papers today.
The Grade Ten exams started on Monday and will conclude with the English Paper this Friday.
For Marianville Secondary, the exams are supervised by external invigilators from the nearby De La Salle and Koiari Park Secondary Schools.
The students began their Social Science Exam at 8:15 this morning and finished off at 11:15 while those who took Expressive Arts sat the paper in the afternoon session.
Marianville is an all-female school which was established in 1966. It is administrated by Catholic nuns and has been providing education for young women for over 50 years.
In 2016, it was ranked one of the top ten schools in the country scoring high marks in both the Grade 10 and 12 National Exams.
According to teachers supervising the exams, they have been starting on time and completing the exams on time.
