Cricket PNG Receives Sponsorship from Brewery Company

Cricket PNG is now the proud recipient of a K150,000 sponsorship from SP Brewery today.

This marks a renewal of SP Brewery’s sponsorship to Cricket PNG, as it was previously an active sponsor.

Present to accept the sponsorship was Cricket PNG’s CEO Greg Campbell who said, this support will go a long way, with CPNG’s 2017 endeavours, especially the National team’s international fixtures.

As Cricket PNG take on more challenges in the remaining part of the year, the K150,000 sponsorship from SP will go towards supporting the National Men’s and Women’s Teams as well the U-19 National Team.

With the Lewas and the Barramundis success rate in the fixtures they have played in the last 12 months, both internationally and locally, SP LAGER Senior Brand Manager Josh Wheeler said, it only reflects CPNG’s good governance.

Cricket PNG CEO, Greg Campbell was pleased with the SP Brewery’s generosity, saying that this will put CPNG and the Barramundis in a good position to play Scotland in Round 6 of World Cricket League Championship, come October.

The organisation has been going from strength to strength over the years with its community outreach programs mainly under their development program has been nothing but exceptional.

This incentive will also cater for the HEBOU Shield, Cricket PNG’s First Class Competition, coming up in a week or two.
