A clan in Central Province has given their land to the PNG Forest Authority to plant trees.
The Sogeri Plateau was once covered by forest and customary land owners want the forest to return.
In celebration of The International Day of Forests, the PNGFA along with other government agencies and schools, planted hundreds of teak and other seedlings.
