Children Our Future

Children Our Future sheds light on an often forgotten plight in Papua New Guinea, the struggles of children on a day to day basis.

These issues are wide-ranging and highly sensitive. For this reason the short documentary focuses on the deprived rights of Papua New Guinean children; especially the right to receive an education.

Although the current PNG Government has subsidized Education in the country, there are many additional factors that affect the quality of learning for children outside of the classroom, such as the additional financial costs that accompany sending children to school, home life and peers just to name a few. Children Our Future highlights this daily struggle and gives voice to children nationwide that aren’t able to speak.

Non-Government Organizations such as World Vision and Friends Foundation provide insight into this plight that is endemic in PNG whilst also touching on initiatives to mitigate these issues that affect children.
