President of the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum, Gerea Auopi, said mineral explorers are facing tough times.
Mr Auopi expressed concerns over the drastic decline in mineral exploration especially in the grassroots exploration sector; now this was at the 14th PNG Mining and Petroleum Investment Conference that took place in Sydney last week.
