by Judith Kasek – EM TV, Port Moresby

Bmobile-Vodafone announced its partnership with PNG Power today enabling customers to buy easy pay top up units with their services.

The package “Get Pawa” was announced by Group Chief Executive officer of Bmobile Vodafone Sunder Ramamurthy (Sun-da Ra-ma-mur-thy).

He said he was delighted with the opportunity to form a partnership with PNG Power that will enable customers to buy easy pay top up units.

He said the company understands some of the restrictions for easy pay purchase on mobile phones of K15 to K50 and are removing those restrictions so customers can purchase more.

Ramamurthy said it took the company eight months to get the program up and running and is a significant achievement for bmobile-vodafone.

John Tangit, PNG Power Limited CEO said PPL is committed to the consumers and the partnership is a way forward to making electricity services accessible for the people.

Customers can top up units any time of the day or night starting from today and can purchase power units from as low as K15 to K500 with a transaction fee from as low as K1.

The Get Pawa solution follows the roll out of Bmobile-Vodafone electronic voucher distribution reseller counter.
