Towa is one of the five young Papua New Guineans who were recently recognized for their initiatives by the United Nations for supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Under the UN’s Youth Champion For SDGs, young people are recognized for their initiatives in supporting UN achieve any of the SDG goals.

For Towa, he developed the nature of helping others at the age of 19 after his father passed away in 2009.

In 2010, Towa stated helping his friends to find employment by editing their CVs, and photocopying or scanning their documents.

Realizing that he could help more people, he created a Facebook Page called Current Job Vacancies with LT where he advertises job vacancies.

Towa says he has helped over 100 people to find jobs and now has a wider audience following his Facebook page.
