The PNG Barramundis, currently on their Queensland tour have less than two months to go before hosting Scotland.
This will be for round 6 of the ICC World Cricket League Championship and the Inter-Continental Cup.
The Queensland Tour is expected to get them into game-mode come October when they meet Scotland in hopes of improving their rankings.
Currently sitting fourth on the ladder in the I-CUP and second to Netherlands in the WCLC, beating Scotland would bring them closer to sealing their victory in both competitions.
It would also mean they get to reacquire their One Day International Status.
Their shaky start to their opener match on Sunday in their Queensland Tour is something they look to eliminate as they work towards the Scotland meet.
