BARARAT BRIDGE IS SET TO COMPLETE NEXT MONTH

The long awaited Bararat Bridge in the Sepik Plains o East Sepik Province is now up and positioned, announced the Minister for International Trade and Investment and Yangoru-Saussia MP Richard Maru.

“This next three weeks the contractor, China Shenyang International Corporation, will concentrate on the causeway. This bridge is set to be completed over the next four weeks and ready for opening,” said Minister Maru.

“Tears of joy is flowing freely as the local people of Sause and Angoram deep in the heart of the Sepik Plains realize their lifetime dream of finally getting a bridge to connect them to Wewak will soon become a reality in weeks after 49 years of Independence. 14 village in both Yangoru-Saussia and Angoram District will be connected all the way down to Timboli where the Middle Sepik High School is located.”

Minister Maru added: “To God be the glory for the great things He is doing in transforming our Yangoru-Saussia District.”
