Election preparations for the Autonomous Region of Bougainville are set says the Acting Election Manager, Desmond Timiyaso.
Speaking to EMTV News in Buka Mr Timiyaso said that the Autonomous Region of Bougainville is ready for the polling.
“We are all geared up for the actual conduct of polling. We have received all training equipment and materials from the PNGEC office,”
There are 187 polling teams and the final training for polling officials will begin on June 12 followed by counting training.
“There are 66 teams for North Bougainville, 49 for Central Bougainville and 71 for South Bougainville,” he said.
Timiyaso also called on all returning and assistant returning officers to submit forms for the temporary election workers.
