Alotau Kickboxing Team stuck in Port Moresby

Four members of the Alotau Kickboxing Club are appealing to Milne Bay Authorities for their return to Alotau.

Team Manager, Florence Tiamani says, their return is crucial for Team Milne Bay’s preparation for the 7th PNG Games in Kimbe next month. The four attended a recent kickboxing tournament at Bomana.

Tiamani says the recent fight at Bomana has given confidence and build-up for the Milne Bay fighter. She says attending the tournament was crucial for kickboxing in Milne Bay.

Another official, Willie Alphonse says, the build-up is positive, and proper support must be given.

“We have made Milne Bay to the top after winning silver and bronze,” said Alphonse.

Settling for silver and bronze, Milne Bay fighter, Aaron Tiwalibo has raised the Milne Bay flag among other centres despite being a first-timer in the ring. But now, the four need to return and join other Milne Bay fighters in preparation for the 7th PNG Games.

Team Milne Bay will be sending 4 fighters to the 7th PNG Games.
