PNG’s Pacific Games gold medalist in Powerlifting at the 2011 Noumea games, Metang Wak has been stripped of her medal after testing positive to the Sport Anti-doping test.
She won the medal in the 84kg division.
The banned substance was in her medication given by a medical professional but Wak failed to declare it to Team PNG’s Medical staff before the 2011 Games.
