The Court on Electoral Petition has declared Tony Aimo as the Member for Ambunti – Drekikir.
Aimo who was runner up retains the seat he held going into the elections.
Justice Collin Makail handed down the judgement yesterday after finding that Ezikiel Anisi who won the seat was under age.
Evidences provided in court showed that Anisi was 24 years when he nominated a year less than the legal age of 25.
Mr Aimo will be sworn into Parliament today.
