Haus & Home Episode – 7 2014

In this episode:

Haus & Home learn about the latest product that BSP has to offer to help the average Papua New Guineans including student to own an account that is user friendly.

Head Coach, Timothy Lepa, says most of his players are new youngsters selected from the Ipatas Cup competition. This was after the club lost four of its players to the SP PNG Hunters, three to Lae Snax Tigers, and two to Agmark Gurias.

A thirteen men Enga Mioks squad have arrived in Lae since yesterday, and are undergoing training while other players, are still in camp with their clubs, for the 2014 Ipatas Cup grand final.

Coach Lepa says most of the players currently in training, are from all over the country, and were selected out from the Ipatas cup competition this year.

Today, the team underwent heat trainings at the outside grounds of Lae Rugby League, to familiarise themselves in playing under hot conditions.

With the Digicel Cup set to commence in two weeks’ time, Lepa is optimistic, he will have all his players prepared by then.

This year, the team will be playing without the service of several of their players, who have moved to other clubs.

Training and consistency have been highlighted by the coach as the keys in developing new players. Their slow start into training has been blamed on the Ipatas Cup, as it is the only competition, where Enga Mioks recruits players for the Digicel Cup competition.
