Public Servants in the country have been urged to reflect on the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, as the foundation of Christian faith.
This is the Easter message from the Secretary of the Department Personal Management, John Kali.
Mr Kali said: “Easter is a time of joy, sharing the peace of the Risen Lord. He said he wants to see Easter, being celebrated with families. It’s a time of great reflection, Christ as the light of this world.
According to the Catholic Church’s Liturgical Calendar, it’s the birth of the new Church or life.
While thanking the public servants for their commitment and loyalty to this nation, same time Kali encouraged them, to be faithful in their obligations, starting with their families and including the state, they serve.
The public service machinery is the Governments key arm of service delivery. Its purpose is to deliver services, and continue to ensure that policies are implemented for the peoples benefit.
