In the lead up to the Commonwealth Games this year, and the Pacific Games later in 2015, Squash PNG have reeled in two sponsorships with Airways hotel and Pacific Industries.
The following announcement of the sponsorship will go towards supporting squash enthusiasts during several development programs which will be carried out through-out this year
The calendar for Squash PNG is looking bright and vibrant, as the sporting body is expecting bigger and better things within the next few weeks.
PNG Squash Committee, Konio Vai was pleased to make a bright bold announcement earlier today at the Airways Hotel.
The sponsorship comprises of the unlimited usage of the gym and court facilities at the Airways Hotel, while Pacific Industries will be supplying complimentary refreshments at all squash tournaments and events.
The sponsorship goes towards supporting the squash team’s upcoming developments which will commence later throughout the year.
Of the many programs yet to be introduced, Squash PNG will welcome the CEO of the World Squash Federation, Andrew Shelley, as well as Cameron Pilley, currently ranked 17th in the world, and Wee Wern ranked 7th.
With a handful of development programs under construction for the rest of the year, Squash PNG is hopeful in spreading the awareness and love of the dormant sport.
