MOROBE SHOW OPENS STRONG UNDER “50 YEARS FORWARD” THEME

Despite the heavy downpour, the 62nd Morobe Show opened yesterday with hundreds of excited visitors flooding through the gates.
This year’s theme, “50 Years Forward,” highlights Morobe’s growth and resilience over five decades of cultural celebration and agricultural excellence.
Trukai Industries was among the first on the ground, with staff arriving as early as 5am to set up an impressive display of stocks, merchandise, and interactive exhibits at the Trukai Village.
Their commitment reflects the company’s longstanding support for farming communities and its role in bringing families together through food and culture. Head of Trukai Industries Andrew Grace commended the turnout and enthusiasm despite the weather: ‘The dedication of our team and the excitement of the community, rain or shine, truly embody the spirit of “50 Years Forward.” We’re proud to be part of this iconic event that unites the Morobe community and showcases the best of PNG.”
The Morobe Show continues today featuring Trukai’s agricultural displays, merchandise sales, information centre, and charity stall at the Trukai Village, along with family entertainment, kids’ fun day activities, and a school competition at the main arena.
