HEALTH MINISTER PRESENTS K15 MILLION TO WESTERN PROVINCIAL HEALTH AUTHORITY

Health and HIV/AIDS Minister Hon.Dr Lino Tom was in the provincial capital of Western Province on Friday 19th of January for a one day official visit.

The second term Wabag Open MP was in Daru to pay a courtesy call on the staff of the Western Provincial Health Authority (WPHA) as his visit coincided with the work dedication prayer program for WPHA staff for the 2024 working year.

Minister Lino, who is also the People’s Party parliamentary leader, presented K15m to the WPHA for Health Infrastructure Upgrade Programs.

Western Province Governor Hon.Taboi Awi Yoto sincerely acknowledged Minister Lino for his special visit to Western Province.

“Thank you for gracing us with your presence and willing to spend a night with us in Daru,” Governor Yoto said.

Minister Lino will spend the night and attend Sabbath Service tomorrow before departing to Port Moresby in the afternoon.
