HIGHLANDS MOBILE SQUARD TO BEEF UP SECURITY IN PORT MORESBY

The Mobile Squad (MS) 11 based in Wabag, Enga Province were flown to Port Moresby this morning to help provide security and restore normalcy in the nation’s capital.

Mobile Squad (MS) 11 Commander Inspector Wesley Toluana confirmed that his squad with a strength of 38 policemen flew into Port Moresby from Kagamuga Airport, Mt.Hagen this morning.

The MS 11 is based in Wabag and is from the Highlands Mobile Group (HMG).

The Highlands Mobile Group is made up of MS 05, 06 and 07 based in Mt Hagen, MS 08 in Kerowaghi, MS 09 in Tari, MS 10 in Mendi, MS 11 in Wabag and MS 12 in Laiagam. Similarly, additional strength from the Northern Mobile Group (NMG) were flown into Port Moresby from Lae yesterday evening
